There is so much to be grateful for on Thanksgiving Day. Greeted at the door with warm welcomes and hugs while delicious aromas are permeating throughout, it's a day of gathering and catching up with loved ones, as excited chattering and heartfelt laughter can be heard all around. It’s those very moments that are the most meaningful, for it’s our connections that we have with others that truly are something to be grateful for. On Thanksgiving Day, the busy and at times grueling day to day activities that we endure cease and we’re able to relish in the moment. It gives us a chance to take a step back and remind ourselves just how important family is and not to take any of it for granted. We’re reminded why we have so much to be thankful for and how truly the simple moments sometimes can be the most profound. All the preparations leading up to the day, the cooking, baking, cleaning, are all worth it, for when the day arrives, we’re quickly reminded why we do it. It’s about creating long lasting memories that we'll fondly look back on for years to come. After all, at the end of the day it’s about the memories we make, we cherish, that have the most impact on us. As we gather around the table surrounded by the ones we love, we’re reminded just how special they are to us. It’s a time to cherish and hold near to our heart, for we are forever thankful.
