Deliciously sweet and tangy, this raisin sauce is the perfect pairing to your Easter ham. A family favorite passed down from generations, this recipe is special to our family when we make it every Easter and I hope it will be for yours too!

Ingredients:
(You can half this recipe for a smaller serving)
- ½ cup brown sugar (¼ cup)
- ½ tbsp. dry mustard (¾ tsp.)
- 1 tbsp. flour (½ tbsp.)
- ½ cup raisins (¼ cup)
- ¼ cup white distilled vinegar (2 tbsp.)
- 1 ¾ cups water (¾ cup + 2 tbsp.)
Directions:
- Add dry ingredients (brown sugar, dry mustard and flour) to a small saucepan and mix using a whisk.
- Add vinegar and water and whisk well.
- Stir in raisins.
- Cook over medium/high heat uncovered until bubbly, then reduce heat to medium and continue cooking uncovered for 20 minutes stirring occasionally (it should be slightly thinner than the consistency of molasses).
- Serve immediately (you can reheat sauce in the microwave if needed).
